The Crew met with Garn the Hammer at Nimsy's House. Suggested they head to Caer Konig to learn more about the Duergar threat. He agreed to make some half-plate armor, a shortsword, and some claws, and offered an additional discount up to 50% on his special stock. |

Garn the Hammer and Hlin Trollbane were both present at the feast. Hlin seemed cautious and mentioned seeing some unusual footprints outside. Garn drew a dagger to Bragnar's throat believing him to be some kind of shapeshifter appearing as Oobok, but was convinced there was no trouble. Garn warned of chatter from the Goblin Fortress and potential duergar action. |

When midnight came, an invisible Duergar used the distraction to try to poison Garn the Hammer. Bragnar noticed something amiss and a battle ensued. The Duergar enlarged and threatened that the Crew didn't even know how many invisible Duergar might be out there. Skynor Vokototh threw a plate like a frisbee and landed a critical hit on one of the Duergar. Unfortunately, despite brilliant use of magic and a bat familiar to spot the invisible menace, one Duergar escaped and none were captured. |

#Lottery Merken uses cantrip “create bonfire” and lands it in the exact spot they wanted. Merken then weaves it into the colors of the temple of Amaunator. Garn the Hammer yells: “Those are the colors from the temple”! The people begin to yell, release her! Orion yells, “Release this Woman!” Duvessa Shane tells Eddie Southwell to release her. Jaclyn Kneescrabble begins to struggle against the guard. Orion knows (from a previous check) that she has moderate hypothermia and losing her mind. Merken uses healing on her. She recovers and stops struggling. Merken creates a thunderclap and extinguishes the bonfire. Duvessa Shane says at that moment, “ Amaunator is pleased!” The townspeople shout their approval. Bardley puts some extra clothes on her. He then uses Bardcraft to put blooms in the ashes. And it was so. Another sound of satisfaction ripples through the crowd. Jaclyn Kneescrabble asks the Markham Southwell to bring her back to tavern. He looks to the travelers and they give their asent. |
