Tomb Raiders
23rd of Uktar, Year 1489 (New Moon -28)
Tomb Raiding
- Using Merken's moonbeam spell, the Crew opens the remaining chambers of the tomb and loots them. They discover the body of a woman dressed like a druid who died recently, presumably Vurnis.
- Merken uses the scrying mirror to spy on Naerth Maxildannar. Sees him in his office, in which there is a large map of Ten-Towns with intricate markings, and he is conversing with a dwarf with red hair about the dwarf running for the speaker election in Good Mead and using Naerth's money for bribes.
Return to Lonelywood
- Stashing Sahnar in the forest, the Crew return to Lonelywood and visit Iriskree Harrowhill. She tells the Crew about her history as the leader of a gang of assassins, pointing them to former colleagues who can help train them.
- "There's Fef Moryn in Good Mead. He's a trapper with ears like an owl's. He was our scout and sneak. He's a bit of a loner. Like's the isolation. But if you can find him, he'll help you I'm sure of it."
- "Roark Bodwin owns a tavern now in Caer Dineval. In his day, he was in the best shape of any warrior I've ever seen. He could run for miles in full armor. He was quick, never tired, and I never saw him make a mistake from fatigue. He's an old man now, but he can probably tell you how he trained. Might have to give him something in return."
- "Imdra Arlaggath is now the captain of Easthaven's militia. She was our expert on poisons. She's a genius. She could take two herbs and make you dead or feel like a god. Sometimes both. I doubt she'll share her recipes. She wouldn't even share them with me. But she might teach you how to develop your own."
- "And finally there's Jartha Farzassh. I'm not sure where he ended up, to be honest. He was the youngest member of the team and didn't talk much. But he had an uncanny knack for identifying the weak points in an enemy's defenses. Almost like he had studied each one in a lab. I honestly don't know if that can be taught, but if it can, he's the one."
- Iriskree Harrowhill identifies a ring Bragnar looted as a Ring of Material Assessment and gives Merken a Dagger of Venom.
- The Crew visit Nimsy Huddle who offers to host a feast for them in the coming days and tells them they can use the Ramshackle Inn, which has fallen into disrepair, however they see fit. Bragnar decides to open a tavern called Lonelywood#The Pick and Pint (formerly Ramshackle Inn) in honor of fallen bard comrade, Bardley.
- Sahnar tells Bragnar that the elven bow he carries can be re-strung with the right materials.
Road to Termalaine
- The Crew heads for Termalaine to deal with the kobold problem in the mine. On the way, they encounter the Slav the Orc Warchief again and his six-orc party. After a hard-fought battle, the Orcs are routed.
